Lateral Partner — Corporate & M&A, Los Angeles

Leading law firm seeks a lateral partner to grow a busy Corporate & M&A practice in the Los Angeles office. The role focuses on private equity and strategic M&A, issuer-side and other capital markets work, and transactional matters for technology, life sciences, energy and financial services clients.

The partner will collaborate across practices including finance, IP litigation and technology transactions, and will have responsibility for originating work, expanding client relationships, and mentoring junior lawyers. Strong origination and a track record advising sophisticated corporate and capital markets clients are key.

• Portable book of business of $4M (USD)
• Proven partner-level experience in M&A, private equity and capital markets
• Demonstrated client origination and business development success in technology, life sciences, energy or financial services sectors
• Experience leading teams and working cross-practice with litigation, IP and finance groups
