Lateral Partner, Corporate (Tokyo)

Senior corporate partner role based in Tokyo to grow and lead a cross‑practice corporate team focused on private equity, M&A and corporate finance. The role will also support expansion of restructuring, fund formation and asset‑backed finance capabilities within the office.

The successful candidate will work closely with deal teams across jurisdictions, help win and manage large international engagements, and play a leading role in business development for the practice in Japan.

• Portable book of business of $5M+ (USD)
• Proven partner‑level track record in private equity, M&A and/or corporate finance
• Experience advising on restructuring, fund formation or asset‑backed finance is highly desirable
• Established client relationships and demonstrable business development ability in Japan
