Lateral Partner — Energy & Environmental, Detroit

Senior energy and environmental partner sought to lead and grow a full-service practice in Detroit. The role will advise developers, utilities, and infrastructure clients on permitting, regulatory compliance, project development, and transactional matters across the energy and environmental sectors.

The successful candidate will combine substantive technical expertise with client development and team leadership experience, helping expand regional market share and mentoring junior lawyers. This role offers significant opportunity to shape the practice strategy and cross-collaborate with national teams.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Established track record in energy, infrastructure or environmental projects, transactions or regulatory matters
• Proven client origination and relationship management skills
• Ability to lead and develop a regional team and collaborate with national practice groups
• Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or willingness to obtain
