Nationally recognized law practice is seeking a lateral partner to join its Wilmington office to lead and grow environmental compliance and regulatory work. The role will advise corporate and public-sector clients on environmental regulatory matters, permitting, enforcement defense, and transactional environmental due diligence.

Ideal candidates will have substantial experience with state and federal environmental regulations and a track record handling complex compliance matters. Experience with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) matters is desirable.

  • Established partner-level experience in environmental compliance, regulatory matters, and permitting.
  • Strong record of client development and relationship management in the environmental or land-use space.
  • Practical experience with state and federal environmental statutes and enforcement defense; CEQA experience desired.
  • Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
