Lateral Partner, Intellectual Property - Muscat

Leading regional law firm is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property partner to join its Muscat office. The role is for a senior partner who will lead and grow the IP practice, advise on cross-border IP matters, and act as a senior client-facing lawyer on contentious and non-contentious mandates.

The successful candidate will work with a regional team on international matters, mentor and manage junior lawyers, and play a central role in business development and client relationship management across Oman and the surrounding market.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Proven partner-level track record in intellectual property (litigation, prosecution, transactions or portfolio management)
• Admitted to practice in a relevant jurisdiction and able to work with regional/international clients
• Demonstrable business development skills and experience building a practice in the region
• Strong people-management and mentoring experience
