An established international law firm is seeking a senior disputes partner to lead and grow its Tokyo disputes practice. The role focuses on international commercial litigation and arbitration across Asia, with significant cross-border work and collaboration with regional teams.

The successful candidate will handle complex, high-value international arbitration and commercial disputes, advise multinational clients, and help develop client relationships in Japan and the wider APAC region. This is a senior leadership role with opportunities to shape the disputes offering in Tokyo.

Proven partner-level experience in international commercial litigation and arbitration
Track record of leading complex cross-border disputes and arbitration matters
Business development skills and existing client relationships in Japan/Asia
Admission to practice in a common law or relevant jurisdiction and strong commercial acumen
Strong English and Japanese language skills preferred
Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
