Lateral Partner, Securities & Capital Markets — Vancouver

Leading Canadian capital markets team is seeking a mid-career partner to join its public-side Securities & Capital Markets practice in Vancouver. The role focuses on leading equity and debt offerings, advising issuers and boards, and originating new client engagements.

The successful candidate will have a substantial existing client base, take a hands-on role on transactions, and work closely with senior lawyers across the national capital markets platform. This is a partner-level opportunity for an experienced securities lawyer looking to expand or relocate their practice in Vancouver.

• Call year ideally between 2000 and 2010 (approx. 15–25 years' experience) or equivalent capital markets background
• Strong public-side securities and capital markets track record (equity & debt offerings)
• Ability to originate and manage complex transactions and mentor junior lawyers
• Portable book of business of $1 million to $1.5 million
