Lateral Partner — Tax & Energy — Dallas

Senior tax partner opportunity to lead and grow an energy-focused tax practice in the firm's Dallas office. The role combines client-facing work, practice development, and strategic leadership across tax matters affecting energy clients.

Responsibilities include advising on federal and state tax structuring for energy projects and transactions, managing complex tax controversy and compliance issues, and coordinating cross-practice teams on deals and financings. The partner will mentor associates and help expand the practice's client base.

• Proven partner-level experience in energy tax matters and transactional tax work
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax law applicable to energy clients
• Demonstrated business development and client relationship skills
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior lawyers
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
