Join a nationally recognised public law team in Melbourne handling high-volume, complex administrative and judicial review matters across federal courts and merits review bodies. The role offers early and regular advocacy exposure, including interlocutory hearings, final hearings and appeals, with responsibility for solicitor advocacy and instructing counsel.

You will work within a collaborative national practice advising government and regulatory clients on statutory interpretation, decision-making and litigation. The team values technical excellence, commercial thinking and constructive use of legal technology to improve outcomes and efficiency.

1–4 years PQE in public/administrative law or related litigation
Experience or strong interest in government litigation, merits review and judicial review
Advocacy experience or clear desire to develop solicitor advocacy; experience briefing counsel
Excellent legal drafting, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
Commercial awareness, client-focused approach and strong digital literacy (interest in legal technology/AI advantageous)
