Legal Consultant — Litigation / General Commercial, Melbourne

Short-term (3 month) full-time, hybrid in-house consultancy role supporting the legal team of a large enterprise. You will manage commercial litigation matters and provide general commercial legal support, working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel.

This role sits within a flexible legal-resourcing team that places experienced lawyers into client-side and firm-adjacent roles. The assignment requires someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-moving environment, adapt to changing priorities and contribute practical, commercially focused advice.

• Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience in commercial litigation or general commercial law
• Proven experience managing litigation files and liaising with external counsel
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced in-house environment and engaging multiple stakeholders
• Current practising certificate and right to live and work in Australia
