Senior corporate lawyer opportunity to join a well-regarded national Corporate team based in Manchester. The role offers significant transactional responsibility, client-facing work and a platform to help grow the practice across the North West.

You will lead and manage complex corporate transactions from instruction to completion, advising on M&A, private equity and joint-venture matters, and working with private companies, owner-managers, management teams and institutional investors. The role requires close collaboration with Banking & Finance, Tax, Employment, Real Estate and Regulatory colleagues to provide integrated advice.

There is a clear leadership element: supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, supporting partners on larger strategic matters, and contributing to business development and market profile in the region.

Significant post-qualification experience in a recognised corporate practice, with strong technical M&A and corporate transactional skills.
Proven ability to lead transactions from instruction to completion and to supervise and develop junior lawyers.
Experience advising private companies, management teams and private equity clients; strong commercial judgment and pragmatic approach.
Demonstrable client relationship skills, business development appetite and excellent communication and project management abilities.
