A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced litigation associate to join its Detroit office. The role involves complex litigation matters and offers significant responsibility, including courtroom advocacy and case strategy development.

The successful candidate will handle pleadings and dispositive motions, argue motions in court, take and defend depositions, and participate in trials and arbitration hearings (first or second chair). They will also develop, research, and execute overall case strategy.

5–6 years of complex litigation experience
Experience drafting pleadings and dispositive motions
Courtroom appearances, including arguing motions
Deposition experience
Trial and arbitration hearing experience (first or second chair)

Superior research and persuasive writing ability
Strong analytical and communication skills
