Our client, a leading law firm, seeks associates to join its litigation team in Los Angeles and Century City, with a strong emphasis on trial work. The role offers substantial responsibility in complex litigation and trial matters across a broad range of substantive areas, including securities, class actions, antitrust, white collar, entertainment, and trade secrets.

Primary responsibilities include developing case strategy, researching and drafting dispositive and contested motions, taking and defending depositions, directing discovery and expert workup, and preparing and examining witnesses at trial, arbitration, and evidentiary hearings. More senior candidates will serve as senior members of trial teams, own the pretrial record, and supervise and develop junior associates.

The firm welcomes candidates from diverse litigation backgrounds, including those from U.S. Attorney’s Offices, state AG or district attorney’s offices, or comparable government trial practices. District court or appellate court clerkship experience is preferred but not required. Candidates are encouraged to describe their trial experience specifically in their cover letter.
