M&A Associate — Technology Companies, San Francisco

Mid-level associate role in a technology companies M&A group at a leading US law firm. The team advises on mergers and acquisitions for early- and late-stage technology companies and represents venture capital investor clients.

Ideal candidates will have significant transactional experience working on teams and managing components of deals independently, strong business judgment, and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external counsel and clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and outstanding academic credentials are expected.

California bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly is required.

• Mid-level M&A transactional experience, preferably with technology company deals
• Experience on both early- and late-stage transactions and with venture-capital-backed clients
• Proven ability to work on teams and run portions of transactions independently
• Strong drafting, communication and client-management skills
