Corporate M&A Associate (Multi-Office)

A highly regarded law firm is seeking a mid-level Corporate M&A Associate with at least 3+ years of relevant transactional experience to join its busy M&A and securities practice. The role is open across multiple offices in the Southeast and Midwest, with flexibility on the candidate's base location.

The associate will support a wide range of sophisticated, high-profile transactions, with a particular focus on M&A and private equity deals. Day-to-day work includes drafting M&A transaction documents, running corporate due diligence projects, managing complex transactions through to closing, and advising on corporate governance principles and federal securities law matters.

• At least 3+ years of relevant transactional experience, preferably gained at a mid-size to large law firm
• Demonstrated experience in M&A transactions and the ability to support others across a variety of deals
• Experience with private equity deals is advantageous
• Ability to draft M&A transaction documents
• Experience managing corporate due diligence projects
• Ability to manage complex transactions to closing
• Familiarity with corporate governance principles and federal securities laws
• Excellent academic credentials
