Mid-level Associate, M&A (Budapest)

We are seeking a mid-level associate (1–4 years’ PQE) to join a busy Corporate / M&A team in Budapest. The role focuses on supporting complex, cross-border transactions and strengthening mid-level execution capacity across a varied deal pipeline.

The successful candidate will assist on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and restructurings, managing due diligence, drafting and negotiating transactional documents, and coordinating with colleagues and external advisors across jurisdictions.

• Qualified lawyer in Hungary
• 1–4 years’ post-qualification experience with solid transactional/M&A exposure
• Proven experience managing due diligence and drafting transactional documents (SPAs, shareholders’ agreements, NDAs)
• Strong analytical, drafting and negotiation skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach; fluency in English
