Opportunity for a mid-level associate to join a busy Corporate M&A and Securities practice in Dallas. The role focuses on capital markets work and public company reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities include representing issuers in public and private offerings of debt and equity, preparing Exchange Act filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements), and advising on disclosure, corporate governance and SEC/stock-exchange compliance. Experience on public and private company M&A matters is a positive.

3–5 years of relevant experience in capital markets, securities and public company reporting
Experience representing issuers in public and private offerings of debt and equity
Demonstrated SEC and stock-exchange reporting and compliance experience, including Exchange Act filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements)
Public and private M&A experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, maturity, and business judgment; excellent academic credentials
Experience at a large regional, national, or international law firm preferred
