Mid-Level Capital Markets & M&A Associate — Washington, D.C.

A mid-level associate is sought for a busy Capital Markets and Corporate practice in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on capital markets work for public and private issuers, SEC reporting and compliance, and related corporate matters.

The team regularly handles public and private offerings of equity and debt, Exchange Act filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements), and provides disclosure, governance and stock-exchange compliance counsel. Public and private M&A experience is a strong plus.

• 3-5 years of securities/corporate experience (PQE)
• Experience representing issuers in public and private offerings of debt and equity
• Familiarity with SEC reporting and Exchange Act filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements)
• Strong interpersonal, communication and client-management skills
• Excellent academic credentials; experience at a large regional, national or international law firm preferred
