Mid-level Commercial Disputes Associate, Newark

Seeking a mid-level associate to join a busy commercial disputes team in Newark. The role involves handling general commercial litigation matters in state and federal court, including multi-district litigation and class actions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include legal research, drafting substantive pleadings and motions, managing discovery (including e-discovery), and working closely with senior lawyers who will provide mentoring and increasing client contact and responsibility.

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 3-5 years post-qualification litigation experience (commercial litigation, MDLs, or class actions)
• Admitted to or eligible to sit for the New Jersey bar
• Proven drafting, research, advocacy and e-discovery experience; strong communication and teamwork skills
