Top-tier national law firm seeks a mid-level Labor & Employment associate to join its San Francisco office litigation team. The role focuses on defending employers in single-plaintiff and representative employment disputes and providing employment counseling as needed.

Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years of relevant labor & employment litigation experience, be licensed to practice in California, and be comfortable managing matters through discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. The office follows a hybrid schedule with an expectation of roughly three days in-office per week.

Juris Doctor (JD) required and active California bar license.
4–6 years of labor & employment litigation experience.
Experience defending single-plaintiff matters (discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour, accommodation).
Experience managing PAGA matters; class/representative action experience preferred.
Proven ability to handle pleadings, discovery, dispositive and discovery motions; deposition experience.
Strong legal research and writing skills; able to manage day-to-day case responsibilities independently and collaborate with team.
