Top‑tier US law firm seeks a mid‑level associate to join a life‑sciences licensing and technology transactions team in Philadelphia. The role focuses on IP licensing, technology transfer and related support for corporate transactions in the life‑sciences sector.

The successful candidate will work on drafting and negotiating patent and trademark licenses, collaboration and joint development agreements, SaaS and services agreements, distribution agreements, and conducting IP/technology due diligence. The team values collaboration across practice groups while expecting associates to manage substantial components of matters independently.

3–4 years post‑qualification experience in IP licensing/technology transactions, preferably with life‑sciences exposure
Experience drafting and negotiating patent, trademark and technology licenses, joint development/collaboration agreements, and services/SaaS agreements
Experience conducting IP and technology transaction due diligence for corporate deals and technology transfers
Demonstrated ability to manage significant portions of transactions independently and work effectively in teams
Excellent written and oral advocacy and drafting skills
Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
