The role involves counseling on classification, valuation, country-of-origin and preference programs, import compliance programs, tariff mitigation, and supply-chain optimization.

Work will include representing clients before U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) — including protests, binding rulings, audits, prior disclosures and enforcement matters — and handling customs litigation at the Court of International Trade. The team emphasizes collaborative, growth-oriented work on sophisticated, high-impact matters.

Hybrid role with regular in-office presence and flexibility for remote work. The position offers opportunities to contribute to compliance policies, client guidance, and practice thought leadership.

  • 4–6 years’ experience in national security, global trade, or customs/import compliance
  • Experience advising on customs law (classification, valuation, country of origin, marking, preference programs) and designing import compliance programs
  • Experience interacting with CBP or other U.S. government agencies preferred; prior time at a law firm, government agency, or in-house on customs matters is valued
  • Strong drafting, analytical, communication, and project-management skills; ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced team environment
