Established national employment law practice is seeking an Of Counsel to join its Chicago litigation team defending employers in workplace matters. The role focuses on counseling clients and defending administrative charges, state and federal litigation, mediations and arbitrations across a broad range of employment claims.

The successful candidate will work as part of a litigation group on both individual and larger matters, producing independent, high-quality work and managing document-intensive cases. The position is eligible for annual bonuses; the expected Illinois salary range is $245,000–$277,500.

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
8+ years of employment/labor litigation experience preferred
Experience defending employers in agency proceedings and federal/state court matters
Illinois bar admission preferred
Strong writing, oral advocacy, organizational and case-management skills; comfortable with document-intensive litigation
Ability to work collaboratively on team matters and manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
