Apply in confidence →Seeking a litigation-focused knowledge management lawyer to support a complex commercial litigation practice group in Chicago. The role leads and contributes to the group’s KM strategy, builds and maintains searchable precedent and template repositories, and promotes consistent practice-wide workflows and standards.
The lawyer will partner with practice leaders, KM colleagues, and technology teams to design collaboration sites, implement knowledge-sharing processes, develop training and CLE content, and identify efficiency improvements (including testing and deploying KM and AI tools). The role also supports business development by organizing pitch materials and producing client-facing updates and thought leadership.
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- Minimum of 4 years' litigation experience in a large law firm environment
- Admitted and in good standing to practice in Illinois
- Demonstrated KM, project management or process-improvement experience; familiarity with collaboration platforms and legal technology (including AI tools) preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
