Senior employment litigation counsel role in a national labor & employment practice. The position will lead defense litigation, agency matters and arbitrations for employer-side clients, and provide counseling, training and preventive advice on workplace issues.

Responsibilities include managing and trying employment cases (including class/collective and wage-and-hour matters), handling agency charges and mediations, and supervising junior lawyers and support staff. Class action experience is preferred but not required.

JD from an accredited law school and strong academic credentials
9+ years of employment litigation experience with significant first-chair trial and case-management responsibility
Current Tennessee bar admission in good standing
Experience supervising associates and paralegals; strong delegation and feedback skills
Deep familiarity with state and federal agency procedures and employment litigation practice (discrimination, retaliation, wage-and-hour, non-compete and related claims)
Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and project-management skills
