Seeking a lateral partner to lead and expand a busy corporate practice in Atlanta with a strong focus on M&A, private equity-backed transactions, and capital markets. The role also involves advising emerging-growth and technology clients and supporting technology-related commercial and IP-related transactional matters.

The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team handling deal work across life sciences, technology, financial services and energy sectors. This is a business-development oriented role with responsibility for originating work, mentoring junior lawyers and growing client relationships.

Portable book of business of $4M+ (USD)
Substantial experience handling M&A (including PE deals), capital markets and technology transactions
Proven track record of originating and cultivating client relationships; strong business development skills
Ability to lead deal teams and mentor associates; excellent communication and commercial judgment
