Partner — Emerging Companies & Venture Capital, Los Angeles

Seeking a partner to join a US-based law firm’s Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice in Los Angeles. The role will lead venture financings, growth-company matters and advise investors and founders across the lifecycle from formation through exits.

The partner will originate and grow client relationships, work closely with deal teams on corporate transactions and lead business development in the venture/startup community. This is a senior rainmaking role with responsibility for mentoring associates and managing client engagements.

• Significant partner-level experience in venture capital and emerging growth/startup transactions
• Proven track record of originating and leading financings, investments and growth-company matters
• Strong relationships across the venture and startup ecosystem and demonstrated business development ability
• Bar admission in California or eligibility to practice in California
• Portable book of business of $2 million (USD)
