Leading national employment and labor practice seeks a partner to grow and lead employee benefits and ESOP work from the Chicago office. This role will advise public and private employers on a full range of benefits matters, with particular emphasis on ESOP design, implementation and counseling.

The successful candidate will combine technical benefits expertise with client-facing experience: managing matters, mentoring junior lawyers, and driving business development across offices. You will work on complex, cross-functional matters that require close coordination with other practice groups.

This is a partnership-level opportunity for an experienced benefits lawyer who wants a visible role in expanding a well-established practice area.

  • Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
  • Partnership-level experience in employee benefits and ESOP matters
  • Proven client development and origination track record
  • Experience managing teams and mentoring associates
  • Active bar admission and ability to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
