An appointment at partner level of this kind turns on what actually moves with you, not on a headline number.

Senior lateral partner opportunity to lead and expand an energy and infrastructure practice in Charlotte. The role focuses on tax, environmental, maritime and construction matters across renewable energy, oil & gas and related infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will advise on transactional, regulatory and project development issues, work with cross-disciplinary teams, and drive business development in the southeastern U.S. This position offers a leadership role with access to national and international resources.

  • Seasoned partner with significant experience in energy, renewable or oil & gas matters and related tax/environmental/maritime or construction work
  • Proven track record of originating and developing client relationships and leading deal teams
  • Bar admission in relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s); strong writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)

Where the match is not obvious from the description, it is usually still worth talking — partner briefs move with the candidate.
