Partner, Finance & Banking — Washington, D.C.

Senior partner hire to lead and expand a banking and finance practice from the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. The role involves originating and managing client relationships, advising on commercial lending and structured finance matters, and mentoring a team of associates and counsel.

The successful candidate will work on a mix of corporate and regulatory financing matters for financial institutions and corporate borrowers, collaborating across offices and practice groups as needed. This is a rainmaking role with clear expectations for business development and practice growth.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Proven partner-level experience in banking and finance transactions and advisory work
• Strong track record of originating and managing client relationships
• Bar admission in D.C. or ability to become admitted; excellent leadership and mentoring skills
