Lateral Partner – Litigation, Intellectual Property & Antitrust (Chicago)

An established law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Chicago office, anchoring a practice spanning complex litigation, intellectual property, and antitrust and competition matters. This is a partner-level opening for a practitioner with a demonstrated record of building and sustaining a client base at the intersection of these practice areas.

The role offers a platform for cross-disciplinary work, with the firm's litigation, IP, and antitrust capabilities serving a range of sophisticated clients. The successful candidate will help drive the growth of the Chicago practice while collaborating with colleagues across related teams.

Ideal candidates bring deep experience in patent litigation with a focus on life sciences and technology, as well as antitrust litigation connected to private equity work. Familiarity with privacy and data protection issues is advantageous.

• Partner-level experience in litigation, intellectual property, and/or antitrust and competition law
• Admission to practice in Illinois (or ability to obtain)
• Demonstrated expertise in patent litigation, particularly in life sciences or technology sectors
• Experience with antitrust litigation tied to private equity matters
• Portable book of business of $3M+ (USD)
• Strong academic credentials and a client-focused approach
