Leading national law firm is seeking an experienced partner to join its New York office to grow litigation and intellectual property capabilities, with strong support for corporate work. The role is focused on developing and managing a portable practice, mentoring junior lawyers, and collaborating across offices on complex product‑liability, mass‑tort and IP litigation matters.

Ideal candidates will bring a track record of originating and servicing significant client relationships and be comfortable working with cross‑practice teams to expand regional and national client coverage. The firm is open to partners with portable books who can contribute to growth initiatives across multiple U.S. offices.

Proven partner-level experience in litigation and/or intellectual property matters
Demonstrable client origination and practice development skills
Experience managing teams on complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation (mass tort/product liability desirable)
Strong trial or contested-matter track record
Portable book of business of $850k+ (USD)
