Partner — Tax & Energy, Fort Worth

Leading law firm seeking a lateral partner to grow and lead its Tax practice focused on the energy sector in Fort Worth. The role will involve advising energy clients on federal and state tax matters, structuring transactions, and handling partnership and capital markets tax issues.

The partner will lead and mentor a team, work collaboratively with transactional and regulatory experts, and play a primary role in business development to expand the practice regionally.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Significant partner-level experience advising on energy-related tax matters (federal, state, and partnership tax)
• Proven track record of originating and developing client relationships
• Strong leadership and team-management skills; ability to mentor associates
• J.D. with active bar admission; LL.M. in Tax or CPA desirable but not required
