We are seeking a highly motivated patent agent or advisor with substantive industry experience and a degree in software, computer science, or a related field to join a busy patent counseling, prosecution, and litigation practice.

The role involves conducting prior art database searches for patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses, analyzing patents and scientific documents to assist attorneys in prosecution, counseling, and litigation, drafting patent applications and responses to office actions, and advising lawyers on technology issues for depositions.

Candidates must have broad scientific knowledge in computer science or electrical engineering, with expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning strongly preferred. Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills in English are required. The individual must be eligible to sit for the USPTO registration exam. Law school tuition assistance is available for patent agent candidates.

Degree in software, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, with substantive industry experience

Eligible to sit for the USPTO registration exam and meet requirements for registration as a patent agent
