Political Law Associate — Washington, D.C.

Seeking an associate to join a national government affairs and public policy team in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on political and election law, with emphasis on lobbying and public policy counseling, campaign finance, government ethics, and nonprofit compliance.

The position involves advising a diverse client base on compliance and strategic matters under federal and state regimes, working collaboratively with partners, associates, and compliance professionals. Strong drafting, oral advocacy, organization, and teamwork are essential.

An active District of Columbia bar license, or immediate ability to waive into DC, is required. This role offers professional growth within a collegial national practice.

• 4–6 years' relevant post-qualification experience in political/election law or government affairs
• Familiarity with FECA, the Lobbying Disclosure Act, FARA, FCPA, Ethics in Government Act, and state pay-to-play rules
• Active DC bar membership or ability to waive in immediately
• Strong written and oral communication, organization, and teamwork skills
