Join a national law firm’s innovation team in Newport Beach to help integrate artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies into legal practice. The role combines solution design, piloting, and hands-on support to improve attorney productivity and client outcomes.

The Practice Innovation Attorney will collaborate with practice groups and cross-functional teams to design AI workflows, lead adoption and training, maintain best-practice resources, and serve as a primary support contact for an "AI as a Service" program. The role also involves evaluating tools, analyzing usage data to guide initiatives, and supporting broader innovation projects, including occasional work outside standard U.S. hours.

J.D. required.
Minimum ~2 years post-qualification experience as a practicing attorney, legal researcher, or legal technologist in a legal environment.
Proficiency with legal technologies, especially AI/GenAI/LLMs, automation, and research platforms.
Experience designing or implementing technology workflows and tooling for legal teams.
Strong communication and training skills; demonstrated ability to drive user adoption.
Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with problem-solving ability and strong organizational skills.
