Private Equity Attorney — Corporate

Seeking a 3rd–6th year attorney to join a national private equity and M&A practice. The role focuses on representing private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on buyouts and related transactions, handling drafting and negotiation of purchase and merger agreements, LLC/LP agreements and ancillary transaction documents.

Ideal candidates will play a lead role on deal teams, working closely with client business teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The firm offers competitive compensation (posted range $260,000–$390,000) and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, parental leave and other elective and firm-paid coverages.

• 3–6 years of transactional experience with a focus on private equity and M&A
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and related transaction documents
• Excellent drafting, writing, analytical and project-management skills; strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work on deal teams and exercise commercial judgment
• Excellent academic credentials and prior large-firm experience
