Private Equity Associate

A large national private equity platform is seeking two mid-level associates to support its expanding private equity practice. The team handles sophisticated private equity and M&A transactions for a broad range of clients and is looking to add lawyers who can step into meaningful deal roles.

The successful candidate will have significant private equity experience, solid complex M&A and private equity deal experience from inception through closing, and a demonstrated ability to lead transactions. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative national practice with room for growth.

The role is based in Chicago. Compensation and benefits are competitive, including an annual bonus program.

• 3–7 years of experience in private equity and complex M&A transactions
• Experience running transactions from inception through closing
• Demonstrated ability to lead deal teams
• Strong law school academic credentials
• Relevant and sophisticated law firm and transactional experience
