Private Equity Attorney — Corporate

National private equity practice is seeking a 3rd–6th year associate with strong private equity and M&A experience. The role will support sponsor and portfolio-company matters, handling transaction documents and day-to-day client needs in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Ideal candidates will lead deal workstreams, draft and negotiate purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and related ancillary documents. The team values excellent drafting, analytical and commercial judgment, plus strong organizational and project-management skills.

• 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in private equity and M&A
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and ancillary transaction documents
• Prior large-firm experience representing private equity sponsors or portfolio companies
• Excellent drafting, writing, analytical, interpersonal and project-management skills
• Strong academic credentials
