Private Equity M&A Associate — Asset Management, Boston

Experienced corporate associate needed for a private equity M&A role focusing on asset management transactions. The position sits in a transactional private equity team that handles buy- and sell-side deals across asset managers and related investment-manager interests.

Ideal candidates will take responsibility for significant components of transactions, working closely with deal teams and outside counsel on structuring, negotiation, documentation and closing. The role requires strong commercial judgment, clear written and oral communication, and the ability to manage client and counterparty interactions.

Bar admission (or prompt eligibility) in the Boston office jurisdiction is required.

• Minimum 3 years of corporate/private equity transactional experience
• Demonstrated experience in asset management M&A; GP stakes experience strongly preferred
• Broad exposure to mergers & acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity/venture transactions and equity compensation matters
• Proactive, client-focused with strong communication and deal-management skills
• Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the Boston jurisdiction
