Professional Liability Associate Attorney — New York, NY

Seeking an associate to join a national professional liability practice based in the New York office. The team defends claims against a range of licensed and regulated professionals, including attorneys, accountants, brokers, appraisers, and other financial and real estate professionals.

The role involves handling all phases of litigation, with emphasis on research, drafting and courtroom/claim defense work. The group is collaborative and works across offices to serve clients on a variety of professional malpractice and related insurance matters.

• 2–7 years litigation experience handling professional liability, malpractice, or related insurance-defense matters
• Admission to the New York Bar required
• Strong research, legal writing, and courtroom/claim defense skills
• Comfortable working collaboratively with a multi-office team; candidates with general litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in professional liability are encouraged to apply
