An established international law firm is seeking a project development associate to join its Houston energy practice. The role focuses on transactional work across energy and infrastructure projects, supporting development, financings and acquisitions.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, support project financings, assist on project acquisitions and lead M&A due diligence on energy and infrastructure assets. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work closely with senior lawyers on sophisticated deals.

3–6 years post-qualification transactional experience (energy/infrastructure focus)
Hands-on project development and project finance experience; joint venture experience desirable
Proven drafting and negotiation skills on complex commercial agreements
Experience leading M&A due diligence for energy/infrastructure assets; tax equity experience a plus
Ability to manage matter-level responsibilities and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
