A growing Chicago real estate practice is seeking a real estate associate with at least three years of experience to join its team. The role focuses on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, representing owners, developers, sponsors and investment managers.

The successful candidate will handle joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions, and sponsor-side financing transactions, taking meaningful responsibility across substantial components of deals. This is an opportunity to work directly with experienced partners and sophisticated clients while contributing to the continued growth of a strong and expanding practice.

The firm is a proactive, detail-oriented workplace that values effective communication and collaboration across deal teams and practice areas. Prior large law firm experience is preferred but not required.

At least 3 years of real estate transactional experience
Experience representing real estate owners, developers, sponsors and investment managers
Focus on joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions, and sponsor-side financing transactions
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Sound commercial judgment and ability to manage substantial components of transactions
Proactive, detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong academic background
Admitted to, or eligible for admission to, the Illinois Bar
Large law firm experience preferred but not required
