We are seeking a junior to mid-level real estate associate to join a market-leading, internationally focused Real Estate practice. The team advises developers, owners, private and institutional investors, corporates, lenders and underwriters on transactions and disputes with real estate at their core, and on domestic and international real estate financings of every kind.

The role offers broad exposure across asset classes and matter types, including work that may fall outside a traditional real estate practice. You will work on a high volume of matters at any one time in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities include representing domestic and international clients in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, development and financing transactions; drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, leases, development agreements and finance documents, plus ancillary certificates, resolutions and consents; running and coordinating due diligence (including lease, title and survey review and diligence reports); and supporting M&A, private equity, fund formation and debt finance teams on real estate matters. The role reports to a partner.

Juris Doctor (or LLM/foreign equivalent) from an accredited law school
Minimum of 3 years' general real estate experience in a large law firm setting
Experience representing borrowers and lenders in financing transactions across commercial, industrial, mixed-use, multi-family residential, data center, hospitality and other asset classes
Due diligence experience, including lease review, title and survey review and drafting diligence reports
Excellent drafting, communication and time-management skills; calm under pressure
Admitted to the bar in the city of application; fluency in English
