Top-tier US firm seeks a Real Estate Finance associate to join its Chicago office. The role focuses on complex commercial real estate debt transactions across mortgage and mezzanine financings, preferred equity, permanent and bridge loan originations, construction lending, loan participations/syndications, intercreditor arrangements and restructurings.

The team advises lenders, sponsors and institutional investors on large, market-leading financings and workouts. The position offers exposure to high-value, sophisticated transactions and collaboration with senior deal teams.

3–7 years post-qualification transactional experience in commercial real estate finance (mortgage and mezzanine financing preferred)
Experience with loan originations, construction loans, syndications/loan sales, intercreditor documents and restructurings/workouts
Strong drafting, negotiating and project-management skills on high-value transactions
Juris Doctor (or equivalent) and admission to practice in the relevant US jurisdiction
Experience at a top-tier or national law firm handling complex RE finance matters
