Apply in confidence →Mid-level associate role in a major firm's New York real estate finance team. The group acts for institutional lenders, investment managers and financial institutions on complex, lender-focused commercial real estate financings and related transactions.
Work will be transaction-driven and include senior mortgage and mezzanine financings, bridge and construction loans, preferred equity, loan portfolio acquisitions and sales, and structured secondary-market matters, as well as restructurings and workouts of performing and distressed assets.
- 3–5 years US law firm experience in real estate finance
- J.D. and active US law license in good standing
- Experience on lender-side financings: senior mortgage, mezzanine, bridge and construction loans
- Track record on loan portfolio transactions, preferred equity and restructurings; strong transactional drafting and deal execution skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters, work collaboratively and communicate clearly
