U.S. Associate — Banking

Top-tier global law firm is seeking a U.S.-qualified associate for its banking practice. The role focuses on U.S. domestic and cross-border banking and finance transactions, with an emphasis on acquisition finance and leveraged finance.

Work will also cover infrastructure finance, fund finance, trade finance, debt restructurings and other commercial loan matters. The team seeks a proactive, team-oriented lawyer who is comfortable using legal AI tools and delivering high-quality written and oral work.

• Experience representing sponsors, borrowers, arrangers, agents and lenders on U.S. domestic and international banking transactions
• Substantive experience in acquisition finance and leveraged finance; exposure to infrastructure, fund, trade finance and debt restructurings preferred
• Proactive, collaborative mindset and familiarity/adaptability with legal AI tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• U.S. J.D. or LLM required; class of 2016 021
