National real estate team seeks a staff attorney based in the Atlanta office to focus on affordable housing matters within a busy practice. The role centers on real estate finance work, including LIHTC and tax-exempt bond transactions alongside construction and permanent lending.

Responsibilities include running transactions from start to finish: drafting and negotiating loan documents, coordinating title/survey matters and closing checklists, and communicating with lenders, borrowers and outside counsel. The team values attention to detail, strong client service and collaborative teamwork.

Approximately 7 years' real estate finance experience (PQE ≈ 7)
Substantive experience with affordable housing matters, LIHTC and tax‑exempt bond financings
Familiarity with construction and permanent loans; experience with subordinate financing a plus
Proven ability to draft and negotiate loan documents and to manage transactions from intake through closing
Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple matters
