Top-tier law firm seeks a Securities & Capital Markets Associate to join its Richmond office on the borrower-side debt finance team. The role offers day-to-day exposure to leveraged finance matters, fund finance, out-of-court restructurings and commercial lending across a broad range of industries.

Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing and negotiating commitment letters, credit agreements, security documents and intercreditor agreements; managing due diligence and closing processes; advising on capital structure and market terms; and working collaboratively with colleagues across transactional practices to deliver integrated client solutions.

Experience in leveraged/debt finance, fund finance or related capital markets work
Strong drafting and negotiation skills for loan documentation and related agreements
Ability to manage due diligence, deal execution and multi‑party closings
Juris Doctor and active Virginia bar admission (or eligibility); prior law firm experience preferred
