Senior associate role in a global banking & finance team based in Hamburg, advising on complex national and cross-border financings. The role focuses on structuring and leading transactions across project finance, asset-backed and banking matters, with significant client contact and transaction ownership.

You will work closely with international colleagues on cross-border mandates, take an active role in business development and client relationship management, and supervise and mentor junior team members. The post offers early responsibility, a clear path on the counsel/partner track, and access to international secondments and structured development programmes.

German state examinations (two Staatsexamina)
Several years' relevant experience in Banking & Finance at an international law firm, including project and asset-backed finance matters
Strong commercial understanding, client-facing experience and confidence in dealings with sophisticated clients
Excellent English (written and spoken) and experience on cross-border mandates; experience supervising junior lawyers
